Rhetoric in everyday life

Some examples of rhetoric that can be seen is in TV advertising.  TV commercials use rhetoric to target kids when selling toys, as well as to target teens and adults to sell clothes or other items.  One of the biggest forms of rhetoric is used in infomercials.  These try to make the viewer feel like they need the product and that it will make their life easier.  Another place where you can find rhetoric is on highways.  Restaurants will use rhetoric to persuade drivers to take the next exit and visit their restaurant.  On the way to class, you can find flyers for clubs trying to persuade people walking around campus to check out clubs.  I have found many of these flyers in the dorms I have visited also.  Also, I have recieved many emails from the university using rhetoric to advertise big events over these last few days, such as Tiger Prowl and the Bowman Block Party.
